It's back to school time, which means it's time to claim your study spot. We're on Magazine Street, about ten minutes from Tulane and Loyola, and you've got more than one place to post up.
The quiet one is the Crescent Room. It's a real room with a door on it, a long handmade table that seats twelve, fast Wi-Fi, plenty of outlets, and a TV if somebody has to present something. Most days it's open and you can walk in and sit down like any other table. If you want it locked in for you and your friends, you can book it online ahead of time from $75, and the hot drip coffee comes with it.
If you'd rather have fresh air than four walls, there's the side patio. Shaded, off the sidewalk, and a good spot when the weather finally turns and it stops feeling like an oven out there.
And if you just want to be inside in the AC, grab a seat, open the laptop, and get to work. Hot drip, iced tea, whatever gets you through the reading.
We're open daily from 6am to 7pm, between Napoleon and Louisiana, and there's usually free street parking within a block or two. Early is easy, mid-afternoon fills up.
So call your friends and tell them you got the study spot. Meet up at CR on Magazine Street.
