The shop
Uptown's third place.
CR Coffee started at St. Roch Market in 2015, but the Magazine Street shop, open since 2019, is the heart of the operation today. Sitting between Napoleon and Louisiana Avenues, the shop opens early for the neighborhood rush and stays busy all day. Every cup is Coast Roast Coffee, roasted on our antique 1910s drum roasters the same way it's been done since 2015.
The courtyard wraps around back with string lights, potted plants, and plenty of room to linger. Inside there's a fireplace in cooler months, leather seating for working, and a retail wall stocked with beans and brewing equipment. It's neighborhood coffee, made without pretension for people in the neighborhood.
