The story
Iced, on purpose.
It's still a thousand degrees out, so no, we're not handing you a hot pumpkin spice latte in September. The Bayou Beast is the answer instead: a pandan iced latte topped with warm fall spices, cold as the swamp with just enough autumn to remind you the heat won't last forever.
He only prowls from mid-July through Halloween, and then he's gone until next year. Consider yourself warned.
What's pandan?
The leaf
Southeast Asia
New to pandan? It's a Southeast Asian leaf, sort of the vanilla of that part of the world: sweet, grassy, a little coconut. It's what makes the Beast taste like nothing else on the menu, and it's where that swamp-green color comes from.
The build
Iced latte
Espresso pulled from our CR Espresso Blend, cold milk, pandan, and a finish of warm fall spices on top. Green on the bottom, coffee on top, until you stir.
